Cill Chartha 1-16 Four Masters 0-09

Cill Chartha had ten points to spare over the only side to have defeated them this season in Sundays match in Towney, the home side got off to a great start with two points in the first minute from the McBrearty brothers Stephen with the first point and Patrick with a fisted effort following a good pass from Ciaran McGinley. Four Masters got their first point on three minutes before a long range point from Michael Hegarty made it 0-03 to 0-01 to the home side, Four Masters pulled another point back before Patrick McBrearty got his second of the match. A free from Michael Doherty and a point from play from John Lacey levelled the sides for what would be the last time in the match on 10 minutes.  

Two Mark Sweeney points one was a great long range effort and a Patrick McBrearty point put the home side three points up, Sweeney who was having a great match got a black card five minutes later for a foul on Karl Lacey. Eoin McHugh with a brilliant solo run finished clinically past Paul Durkin to the top let hand corner of the new for the only goal on 23 minutes the visitors could have had a goal of their own a few minutes later when a goal mouth scramble ended with the ball hitting the post and going out for a 45, three late Patrick McBrearty points left the half time score Kilcar 1-09 Four Masters 0-04.  

The visitors got the opening two scores of the second half the second was a Paul Durkin 45 which came after a goal bound effort was saved by Kevin Campbell, Eoin McHugh, Patrick McBrearty, Mathew McClean and Aodhain McGinley all pointed to make it 1-13 to 0-06, two free kick points for Masters followed before black cards for Andrew McClean and Josh Lacey with 15 remaining.  Late points from Ashley Carr, Conor Doherty and Ciaran McGinley rounded of another good home performance for the home side.
